The layout for this apartment is essentially 3 rooms (about 475 sq ft), the living room with the kitchen cabinets, refrigerator and stove built into the south wall. The living room kitchen combination is about 13x18. There is a separate bedroom which is about 9 x 12. And lastly the classic bathroom listed below (about 6 x 7). Floor materials are hardwood oak except the bathroom which is tiled. Heat is provided by classic radiators. Air conditioning is provided by a window AC unit. This unit will be painted soon, if you sign a contract in time, you can help select the color scheme, or possibly even paint it yourself (with approved rent credit). Expect to pay electrical bills of $25 -$50 depending on the season and AC usage. Heat charges are billed for 5 months out of the year at a fixed price of $50 per month.

Although this apartment has a rather simple layout, it does have one outstanding feature. The bathroom is nearly original (from known records). Tile work is classic white on both the floor and walls. The floor tile is the original 1 inch round tiles. The bathtub also is original, it is not quite full sized (a shower is also included in the bathtub). The sink will soon be updated with a modern replacement pedestal sink which fits the period, but has more modern plumbing. The classic window in the bathroom is original leaded glass.

The kitchen includes a gas stove (paid by owner), refrigerator, double bowl sink and microwave.
